They Said It Best Things to Try
"You can dream it.  You can do it.  You can be it!" - Grace Lesperance

"For every dark night, there's a brighter day." - Tupac Shakur

"We're all the artists of our own dreams ... and our own lives." - Sarah Shawn

"Mom always tells me to celebrate everyone's uniqueness. I like the way that sounds." - Hilary Duff

"Let the stars inside you twinkle and shine!" - Janis Clark

"Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else." - Judy Garland

Count your blessings.

Pay someone else a complement.

Eat fruit.

Break your routine ... do something differently.

Write a note to a friend to recognize the little things like ... their child's first tooth or having fun at a recent playgroup.

Keep a daily gratitude journal. - Focus only on the good things that happened that day.

Bake some cookies!  (Bonus: Share with friends.)

Rearrange something - your kitchen cabinets, medicine cabinet or kids bedroom.

Stretch!!!

Try to name all of the people you have met in the twins club.  You have a special bond with each and every one.

Take a hot bath ... make time!

Drink more water.

Play with your kids ... be a kid too.

Get out the crayons ... have fun!

Work on cleaning one spot at a time.  Set your goals according to your schedule - plan goals that can be accomplished in 15 minutes.

Write a list of what you would like to do for the day.  Cross things off all day long.  It's OK to add things like "make breakfast", "take a shower" and "dress the kids" it all takes time.

Open the curtains - a little sunlight goes a long way.

Change your clothes ... don't linger in your PJ's after breakfast, unless you're sick.

Take your vitamins.

It's OK to shut off your ringers ... you need downtime too.

Add some fresh lemon to your water.

Do anything that makes you laugh.

Have an ice cream cone.

Open a window.

Turn off the TV and turn on the radio ... sing and dance along.  The kids will love it, too.

Go for a walk.  Dress for the weather ... put everyone in the stroller or wagon and just go.
